Mekong day 2
We spent the night in Pak Beng and specially asked to be wake up at 6 AM to be
sure to have a chance for a soft seat.
Unfortuanatly all other passengers got the same brilliant idea as in the had.
But it was nothing to fight for, ALL the seats were hard, wooden hand made banks! Anyway
the view the second day was beautiful too.
spent the night in Pak Beng. We asked for wake up early in the morning at 6,
order to secure soft seats left on the second boat.
As it turned out all the passengers had the same idea of \u200b\u200bwhat my perfect.
However, there was a fight all the seats which are shown to be hard, wooden benches! But
views were equally beautiful.
La noche la pasamos en Pak Beng.
Pedimos que nos despertase especialmente a las 6 de la Mañana couple poder cojer un segundo asiento blando este dia.
Desgraciadamente todos The other passengers were just as ready.
But there was worth fighting, all the seats were wooden benches rustic!
Yet the views on the second day we were just as cute.
Six in the morning ... Szosta rano ... It's six o'clock.
Silnik zostal poswiecony ... The engine has received a gift ... the engin has got an offer ...
The ergonomic seats ... ergonomiczne siedzenia ... super ergonomic seats ...
Speed boat, but only for the breve ones.
Motorowka tylko dla odwaznych.
Una lancha superrapida exclusivamente para los valientes.

Puree Concentrate Difference
Mekong
Luang Prabang is a little, nice town beautiful located on the Mekong river,
which is big and powerful.
The alternative to come back to Vientiane by bus was not even worth to think about it.
On place we got to know that to come to another city which border with Thailand will take 36 hours.
So to take the boat on the Mekong river seemed to be extremaly attractive.
The trip took two days from morning to evening with a breake for the night.
The boat was OK. but it Showed that have only half of the soft seats, after closer look Which Appeared to be seats from old cars and they were not fixed to the floor. We were lucky
Because we got the soft seats, the second half of the Passengers have no choice and had a seat on the home made wooden banks.
But the views from the boat were breathtaking.
Luang Prabang was a nice town, nicely situated on the Mekong,
who is powerful, rwista river.
alternative to returning the bus to Vientiane was out of the game, even in a place, we learned that access to the next frontier town of occupies Thailandia even more, because 36 hours. So the most attractive seemed to us that the road crossing the Mekong.
occupied Trip two days from dawn to dusk, with a stop for the night.
boat was OK. however, turned out to contain only half of the soft seats, which, upon closer przyjzeniu August turned out to the seats of the car is not anything attached to the floor.
We had great luck and we got just the soft seat. Half
was doomed passengers on a wooden, home, knocked together benches, also not attached to the floor.
views were, however, a wonderful.
A if that possible to do a trip on the Mekong is very attractive to us.
The trip took two days from dawn until late at night with a stop for the night. The boat was
OK.resulto mitt that only the seats were soft seats, which look at more closely after rear seats turned out to be cars that reciberon a second life and were not bolted to the floor. We were lucky and we played these former seats of cars.
the MITT passengers had to make do with wooden benches that were not fixed to the ground.
The views were fantastic.
Hello friends.

After 1 hour on the bank hard it WAS more comfortable to seat on the floor. Po na
godzinie siedzenia takiej laweczce wygodniej bylo na siedziec podlodze.
After one hour sitting on wooden benches was more comfortable on the floor.
Soft seats ... miekkie siedzenia ... comfortable seats ...

At the end of the day the boat engin Looked very red and tired!

Luang Prabang
Our next stop is Luang Prabang on the bank of the Mekong river, only 400 km north from Vientiane But The Bus Takes More Than 10 hours! We tried to take a flight but all of them were fully booked, so we have no choice.
The road to Luang Prabang is a small, country road through the high mountains with a lot of curves and now we understand why it takes so long time.
The landscape and the views were really beautiful, but the trip had some moments of horror!
In few places more then half of the road was missing because of landslides, but the bus driver just drove over almost with two wheels in the air! Imagine that down there was more than 500 m.
When we finally reached Luang Prabang we got a big surprise, we expected everything but not a town like this in the middle of nowhere, with nice charming houses, proper foot ways and roads, many dainty restaurants nice decorated and the guesthouses which Could cost 100 or 200 USD. The only habited places
we Passed on the way to Luang Prabang were small groups of people WHERE bamboo houses Had only one place to take water (made by Australians help org or Rotary) Where Were people washing Themselves on the side on the road. So imagine
Our surprise!
Our next stop is Luang Prabang on the banks of the Mekong river, just 400 km north of Vientiane by bus but it takes more than 10 hours! We try to fly, but all flights were full so we had no choice.
The road to Luang Prabang is like the old road between Benalmadena and Mijas right through high mountains and twisty and now if we understand it takes more than 10 hours.
The terrain and the views were breathtaking, but the trip had its moments of terror.
In some places more than half of the road had disappeared by landslides and was a cliff about 500 m. The driver of the bus went through almost two wheels in the air.
LP When we finally got a big surprise. We expected anything but a town like this in the middle of nowhere, with charming houses, sidewalks and streets well made, beautiful scenery and fine restaurants where a small hotel room could cost 100 to 200 dollars U.S..
The only inhabited places we went on our trip to LP were small clusters of bamboo houses where the only water source was a well done by una ONG y donde la gente se publico en lavaba al lado de la carretera. Asi que
imaginense nuestra sorpresa!
Our next goal is to Luang Prabang on the Mekong, Vientiane away from just 400km to the north, but the bus trip takes over 10 hours! We tried to take a plane, but to our surprise there was no vacancy, so we had no choice.
road to Luang Prabang is a small, mole, and narrow and leads sent high mountains, so now we understand why the trip takes 10 hours.
scenery and views were really beautiful, but the trip took place is not without moments of terror.
In some places it was lacking more than half of the roadway because of the slipping slope, and the driver is not paying any attention to, without batting an eye Came over the precipice, bearing nearly two wheels in the air. Imagine that the gap had a good 500m.
When we got in the end to Luang Prabang we were very surprised, we could expect to everything, but no such town as those situated where "dogs bark chicks."
town with nice houses, decent sidewalks and roadways, many cool restaurants and small boutique hotels where it can cost you 100 or 200 U.S. dollars.
On the way to Luang Prabang we saw only small, poor clusters of bamboo houses, where people are taking water from wells, made FOR IN Australian aid organizations and people confuse the public in August at the edge of the road with this one point whence they drew water.
So just imagine our surprise!
