Original Profile Pic Ideas

Back

On Friday evening we started to get ready to return. Our trip back consisted of the following episodes:
- taxi to airport: 40 km, 2 hours,
- flew from Tripoli to Accra III, 3200 km, 4.5 hours,
- flew from Tripoli to Milan, 1400 km, 2 hours ,
- by plane from Milan to Warsaw, 1400 km, 2 hours.
kind of simple, but the whole thing was take care of us 24 hours. I took the 
But after another: the first challenge was to take a taxi, which had a drive us to the airport. To find affordable options that we went to a nearby village to look for someone ready to carry us. Managed to quickly find a taxi for a very low price, we exchanged numbers ... and it started. A man who was to drive us to the airport called us several times a day from different phone calls, confirming the hour of departure and place of departure. The first phone we had about 7 in the morning and to have a few more during the day. Every conversation seemed more or less the same: he tried to say something, but his English and accent were not the best and having distorted the phone, in August an agreement was not completely possible. In desperation, he corresponded R always the same: gave the place and time of departure and we disconnect. By the end did not found out what it was, a taxi picked us punctually at the appointed place. Later still
night flight to Tripoli, morning in Milan, waiting all day at the airport and an evening arrival in Warsaw. A surprise here - dark and a few degrees above zero. Oh, this was a fast change!
On the way back we talked about our plans for another trip. Really believe in this, to go in January or February next year to Madagascar (the footsteps of Polish settlements) or to Mali at the Festival au Desert in Timbuktu, or (as the more economical) to Senegal. In the autumn we're beginning to plan the next trip.

Mac Emulator For Soul Silver

Korobite - an artificial world for tourists?

Today, very early morning (actually late-night), getting up. Bus according to different versions of odjedza of 3.30, 4.00 or 4.30. We aim therefore to these first hour. The bus has already given us is in place (on the side opposite the post office, how does the way to the hospital), and beside him is issued a small table where tickets are sold, and a luggage tag. After half an hour those curls man portable money, people packed the bus and ride, trying to sleep. Departure time is draconian, but the trip takes place at night, so although it is not very hot (Ba! Even you have to cover to stay warm, it happened to me after the first and last time during this trip!). Of course At the entrance to Accra in August meczymy poltoragodzinnym traffic breathing exhaust (you can reduce the emissions in the air, closing the window, but then, in turn, also have nothing to breathe.) Despite this, the roads are around Accra and builds a dual carriageway ring roads in August next, the whole city and the entrances to the stands at any time in traffic. Like most countries in the region of the world, Accra, having 3 million people do not have transportation. To travel around the city, therefore, serve the private car (as someone to stand), taxi and Tro-Tro (mini-buses). As the society is getting richer and ever more people to stand on the car, constantly increasing number of vehicles, congestion and growing environmental pollution. Therefore, building roads and their expansion does not specifically help. In January 2011 a project was launched construction of Accra Mass Transport, the first in the city bus line. Starting its operation is scheduled for 2012. Maybe it will improve conditions even though some (and time) of travel and reduce the pervasive smog?
In Accra, we have to be transported back in August from one station to another STC. This time, however, is easier, because first we know that we are waiting and we can prepare a second bus, which arrived too must do this, because this is his second base station footprint (it is not clear why this company keeps two stations, because of this on who goes, is only six courses per day, is probably some justification, but we can not to not fall into). Thus, already near 9 o'clock we're ready to leave the city. We planned to spend last days in Korobite, a small town on the ocean - only 30 km from Accra and the great smog, and though in a completely different world. Kokrobite is known for its hotels and tourist bases, of which close to the beach. According to the Lonely Planet board chose a place under the name of Big Milly's, recommended as a mecca for backpackers-ow (ie tourists / o with backpacks). Big Milliego imagined as a male over 50, managing a complex of bungalows in a nice African style, overlooking the beach. Well - the reality turned out to be a little different ... 
place really turned out nice situated, right near the beach, area planted with palms and tall trees, providing shade throughout the day. The first surprise we had a meeting with the Big Millym. Now, after receiving the key to our house / cottage, a woman came up to us after the 50th and said: Hi, I'm Big Milly! Enjoy your time! And so we have found that stereotypes work in us the whole 
According to our needs we fell cottage for 4 people, with air conditioning and bathroom microscopic. As per our earlier accommodation quite nicely!
However, information from Lonely Planet, that the Big Milly's was a mecca backpakersow not been confirmed. Most of the people constituted a youths from Britain, which came to warm the country (as in North Africa in January, however, is too cold) for the winter holidays. Everything in this place is organized in such a way that people from Europe had the impression (and mainly the impression) that they are in Africa, but did not have to give up the amenities / food / leisure, such as in Europe. As observed, most of them did not leave the village area (camp?) For the entire stay, moreover, how can you move around the country with a suitcase on wheels (a proof that this is not the place for backpakersow). So on the spot offered:
- breakfast of yogurt with granola or fruit (for Ghana rather little available, because it is difficult to buy yogurt, not to mention for his custody without a fridge)
- sandwich with brie cheese (it is already complete total)
- eggs with yellow yolks (Nowhere in Africa is not met, such yolks are always in Africa pale cream)
- burgers in bread with sesame seeds (probably imported from Europe, Ghana does not have one).
fact, the card B is also some local dishes, but those that most resemble the European kitchen (stewed beans in tomato sauce and fried rice).
to this almost every evening screenings are organized quasi-artistic, that is, almost circus performances by local youth (breakdance, juggling bowls, some gymnastic exercises, etc.) and concerts drumming. Impression during the folklore which corresponds to a junction with the circus.
Duuuzym plus is the plaza, which is located just behind the center's fence - You can get on it and jump sunbathe by the waves, but beyond that it is normally used as a berth for boat fishing and selling fish. Polow is done at night and coming back on the ice trail around dawn and in the afternoon, when the ice going back to the trail just before sunset. Then also you can buy fresh fish and seafood. This is accompanied by a magical sight - before the fishermen arrive with fish, an hour, a half before they begin to gather on the beach the people be willing to buy them. With every moment the crowd thickens, staring at the sea and awaiting the opportunity to purchase. After receipt of the person buying the boat enter the water and begins to slow rytulal bargaining and the collection of 'booty'.
last three days have elapsed We, therefore, of walking along the beach, sunbathing, diving through the waves, traveling objadaniu Aug. African food and visiting a nearby village to buy fruits and preview how people live. It was a good rest before going back, although not to the end just what we are looking for driving by on our trip.

New Animated Chicken Box

Afadjato

lazy morning, getting up, we decided that we will not eat at places where we live (Tasty Lodge, but the name a little shaky), we will look for something on the so-called. city. This is what caught our attention (and what this trip was in line), it najserdeczniejsi people in all, whom we were able to meet / know when you travel. Many people being held in August just to the classical exchange of courtesy welcome us, "Wellcome." And breakfast was a problem though - the only option is called. spot (something like a bar) - a small stand which consists of glazed cabinet with drinks in cans and cartons, boxes on it with the eggs, next to the fireplace with a frying pan. The only thing on offer in May outside a fried egg drinks. As, however, demanded that the place was seated, and the only thing that obeys this requirement is the Grand Hotel. There is a lot to do with the Warsaw Grand Hotel - this is a two-story, dilapidated house with obszarnym courtyard, where a permanent tables. When ordering (although English is the official language here, most of the people we met she said it is not at all or just some words), it turned out that the bar you can order only a drink and a cold. And the food - directly in the kitchen. Of course, as always in this part of the world to choose from were mainly eggs: omelet, scrambled eggs, fried, boiled. It is somehow satisfied the W and we were able to collect in the mountains.
quickly emerged Tro - Tro and 40 minutes drive on the bumpy road we arrived to the village of WLI, that was on a completely flat ground, and stretched around the top (and indeed of the hills) with a height of 800 meters. We bought tickets and started to walk through the equatorial forest, crossing at moments rushing stream, and the end of which, after about 3 km march saw the vertical wall with height about 200 meters, and falling from the waterfall. Inch wall was peppered with bats, and with the storm gathered and started strongly any truth, worried undermined in August and flew over us. On the way back
lazy lunch at the Waterfall Lodge, run by a few Germans and return to the Hoho. Today, going to bed earlier - we have to get up at 3 am to catch the only bus to Accra to 3.30:) But tomorrow starts our chill - out on the beach over the ocean, where we'll spend the last days in Ghana.

Fashion Midninght Hot India

around the mountain from the west to the east ... In the capital of the Ashanti

Yesterday we spent the day traversing the entire Ghane from west to east - after a visit to the Kumasi Bosumtwe and we could not refuse to see the highest mountains in Ghana, located on the east, near the border with Togo. As it happened, from nowhere on our route was not the way to us, so we left it at the end.
Our first idea for this journey is to hire a taxi. But we thought it was, however, too expensive.
The second idea - to find a bus service running directly between Kumasi and Hoho. Tro - Tro fall, because it has very little space, plus rucksack to keep you under their feet, and these vans hurry like mad and travel has not made them safe for us in August. Unfortunately, the bus or not we found - we visited three car parks in Kumasi, but no one on any of us affirmed that such a bus exists at all (which does not mean that there is, can these people we interviewed were not aware of this) .
Since the first and second idea is not burned out, was the third, which first went to Accra (approximately 260 km) and later from Accra to Hoho (another 230 km). Of course, with our favorite company STC. Here the case was made easier because the STC has your own station and there is information and cash.
So yes - it goes, at 8.00 am. No, only to Accra. Yes, you can buy tickets before departure. Yes, we are in time for sure, Accra is another bus at 15.00. Yes, going no longer than 6 hours. Morning all went smoothly, the bus already gone to 8.15. Only it was not a bus, only autobusik (a kind of minibus, and like a bus for 35 people), but it is air conditioned. It's interesting, but most new buses ply here (both the STC and other companies with inspiring titles like 'VVIP' or 'Excellent Express' is a Chinese production, which brands do not occur in Europe.) We were surprised initially, with a distance of 260 km lasts until 6 hours, because the roads in Ghana are rather decent. After 3 hours of driving, some 80 km from Accra began to rebuild the road (which of course carries Chinese company). It looks so that the formed (and indeed does not arise, because although the day was working on did not see ANY ANY stretch of the worker), a branch of the road, while the other serves as a passage for heavy equipment and normal wear and tear. The effect of this is that, with the whole stretch of road construction (any good they were doing 50 km in one go), there is practically no asphalt (because it destroyed the equipment to build a second line of the road) and goes off after bumpy road at a speed of 30 km / h. Later, we happened to congestion in Accra and in the place we were at the station STC 14.40. R marched proudly to the cashier to buy tickets for another bus - to Hoho (drivin 'a per day). Well, it turned out that in Accra STC are two railway stations, and the other is in a totally different part of the city, about 30 minutes taxi. Staying the night in Accra was not an option, just look for another coach, another company (what, where?), So fast decision - we call that second train, translate, with a delay and that there waiting for us, because there is no other connection etc. During this time, charged into the Accommodation tax and quickly into the second station. We were able to arrive at 15.20 so, of course autobusik waited. A train is wonderfully located, namely in the middle of the biggest bazaar in Accra, between stalls with toilet paper and some food, so it does not own we could find (for people who have used the Railway Stadium Avoid security loopholes before moving out Europe Fair - you know what I mean).
There turned out the bus, yes, it is, but always a little different than in the STC. Namely, had the eye for 25 years and proud of the word "Marcopolo. Again, unknown brand:) Everything just cleared - the bus is "ordinary bus, but a ticket costs half of what the air-conditioned, so it pays to, no? Of course, the way
zaliczylismy still plugs in Accra, but tens of kilometers beyond the city began to ride longer normal (normal as normal, the engine bre, so that he could not talk with the person sitting before the government.) Along the way, we stayed on the bridge over the River Volta, a little below the Akosombo and built in the 60s Twentieth century dam, which supplies electricity throughout Ghana. Moments later the sun went down, and we drove into the area of \u200b\u200bthe mountains. Strange Advance - the terrain is flat, and suddenly it grew out of the 800-meter mountain? hill?, and around him flat. Also began to storm - not a storm - lightning nawalaly sharply, but there was no wind and no rain. In addition, we have seen twice as lightning hit in the equatorial forest, causing the fire. So dark the circumstances - lightning - fire - lightning - dark, after 2 hours, about 21 got to Hoho.
Of course it was already dark, dimly lit town, we managed to find out where the only bus stops and on which you re-take the undergroung (about 3:30 in the morning - a great time, no?). Looked for the accommodation from the list of recommendations LP and quickly to sleep. Fortunately, air-conditioned room, So we even managed to stay warm in the night.

Tamil Kavithai For Sister

Kumasi welcomed us in 34 degrees, very przypiekajacym sun, utter lack of air movement and a giant cork. We decided to sit in the Tro - Tro so long, and it turns out that this is the end of the route. Tro - Tro Koncha tour of the so-called rule. parks, which is theoretically the stations, which are usually giant squares of dry land, on which stand trips around Poland departing in all directions around the city. Between them there is a regular busikami bazaar. And so people and vehicles, and squeeze in August by the stand, and somehow it all works. Some parks are a bit better equipped, because their platforms are, and how someone (ia) know from which platform to take the undergroung his busik, can look around there.
Because of the lake. Bosumtwe there was no footprint, so we could not look for a night on the phone. Therefore, we decide to try something that recommends LP. Get off the main street like, but de facto in the middle of the bazaar (400 meters further starts the biggest bazaar in Africa - Kokrobite), which has been extended to a considerable part of the city. So trying to get out of this place, dodging between the cars, people, booths, and mountains of garbage. It turns out that on our map are different names of the streets than in reality (seems that they recently changed), so we lose a little in August, some going in the right direction. After about an hour and we're on the spot - Wesley Guesthouse is housed in some office building on the fourth and Vp. And note - even the rooms are! And with air conditioning! Thus, fast decision and where we live. Wloczymy little about the city, stuff like that to send cards and watching. Kumasi, at first glance, it is much better developed than Accra - even though the lives of 1.5 million people here, is strictly downtown, where you can find everything you need (for example, the Lord is with our reception desk told us a long time when we were already committed, that we want to live here it's a great location because it is near the hospital, police, prison and sad - to say, we went well;)).
jeststolica Kumasi Asante, former kingdom. And although today, Ghana is a democratic country, the whole time is the Ashanti King, who sits in the palace (well, maybe a little too much, so I will let him, with the seat), built by the British. Not it has real power, but he is very respected by the population of the region. On the second day of our stay we watch the Ashanti Cultural Centre and the Palace of the King. Palace turns out to medium sized house, in which King lives. But you can not see him. And that's it. The Cultural Center is a park where there are workshops producing folk art, which you can buy. So we already have small gifts, authentic Ashanti:)
evenings are oriented out how we can get to Hoho (the change in Accra, unfortunately), we have to get up early in the morning on Wednesday, for 13 h before us travel and change in Accra.

Shotaconstraight Game

Bazaar in Kumasi - exclusively for Ghanijczykow

day spent in Kumasi, seemed to be a bit disappointing. It is true that buying "COMENIUS" done and it was extremely successful, but mercilessly Shining sun, dust and extremely small redfish for dinner did not allow for insertions of the day in the ranking of TOP 5 Coming back from cultural center in August of otarlismy najwieksy bazaar in the whole of West Africa. Despite the fact that we passed just lying streets near the markets, the chaos and the crowd seemed to be so big that we began to doubt whether at all we are able to face the bazaar face to face. Przodownikiem these doubts has traditionally been an F, but for all of us the level of disorganization of the city cesci doing big impression.
However, after a short break at the hotel it was decided: let's go! It was already near five o'clock, so we expected a bit crowded bazaar zelzeje and basically we were right. That does not mean means that individuals per m 2 was not terribly high for anyone not born on a poultry farm (that is, for all of us.)
Despite our ignorance, bazaar in Kumasi, the whole is not as chaotic as it might at first glance seem. Subsequently we went through another alleyway with artificial hair, combs and dryers (watching the number of hairdressers in Ghana you can come to the conclusion that the locals are doing nothing else but recharges its pre-paid'y, kseruja and they walk to the barber), then walked bras , ribbons and materials, then meat, fish and vegetables, and eventually the whole kitchen pots and equipment. Especially interesting was
come across sections of meat. You walk among the colorful ribbons and bras, and something here starts getting hard to stink. It stands Meat invite and give customers know about their presence, already at 50 m before the first piece of wywalonego will see on the table bellow. Great tongues, sometimes alone, sometimes with a fragment of the head. Oh, it was probably Fudge! Untreated sheep, from which pour twisted bowel. Yes, yes. These were no elegant podkolorowywane steaks on plastic trays. None ghanijskie child will not argue that the ground actually come from the store. Here wodzimy exactly how they look bloody corpses of animals, before it gets to us on a plate of appetizing as Parma ham, or would be beloved by many a-denominated hot dogs from Ikea.
God thanks for the fish hardly stinks. Wiekszasc Recalls Smoked fish, but were simply decent wysuszlone in the African sun. Shark looks like a big pancake. It entirely devoid of color and flattened. Learning predator after teeth. People
friendship unexpectedly. Theses hands waving, hello, ask from where we are, but to my surprise (in the end we are in the bazaar!) Short conversation did not end with a strenuous solicitation to buy anything. Despite this, W. acquire expensive to buy a few products sporzywczych whose purpose and origins are still a mystery to us. At the end gets proposals DATE Hey! My sister likes you! Please come tomorrow! - ok exclaims 30-year-old woman standing pointing to the door, his back to us, the 20-year-old. Sam interested not happened even in August to watch.
Poszac of bazarowych alleys I mean the long dark corridors, to 3m high, broad in the best case to 1 Flows from the crowd. Stop in order to bind the laces seems to be challenging. Around people screaming something to yourself, exchange of goods, verify, touching, haggle. I napieraja. Napieraja from all sides. No more complaints about the morning crowd on the subway! We
pleased with the bazaar. First przerzylismy, secondly we have a feeling the touch of something unique and throughout Africa. We passed hundreds of posts (though not as much as 10% we saw a whole) and there was even a struggle to the souvenir. Finally, Ghana only for Ghanijczykow.
